About The Position

The AZ/ DZ Operator – Organics will support the liquids/ organics team to provide exceptional service to our clients. The role will be responsible for safely operating and/or have the ability to operate various equipment to assist in the collection of various liquid and solid hazardous wastes.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of driver/operator experience is preferred.
• High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent
• Must possess an AZ license and submit current abstracts, personal and CVOR (no demerit points)
• Must have solid written communication skills in order to complete required paperwork.
• Must have exceptional verbal communication skills to be able to interact with internal and external customers.
• Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
• Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience operating heavy machinery, including farm in an agricultural environment is a definite asset.
• willing to train potential candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized vehicles to move material between client sites.
• Must be familiar and demonstrate ability to operate a tanker.
• Accurately complete numerous and various documents, including pre/post trip inspections, manifests, log books, VCRs, etc., in a legible manner to meet compliance requirements.
• Ensure that all equipment and systems are operated as per GFL standards.
• Knowledge of Reg. 347/558, WMHIS, MTO regulations.
• Drivers are required to adhere to all Environmental and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform other duties assigned.
