About The Position

This position is for a pick-up and delivery driver. It is incentive based pay with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate. You would be responsible for delivering to /picking up from customers in the area surrounding the Sudbury terminal, loading and unloading your truck for deliveries and meeting time-sensitive requirements. Some flexibility in availability will occasionally be required. This will be a Monday - Friday position doing local P&D in our service area in a straight truck or tractor-trailer work. Start times will vary depending on volume. You will be required to help load/unload and perform your daily peddle safely and efficiently. This run may include Baxter home deliveries and also be vacation coverage for other tractor positions for local work. Communicate issues regarding deliveries with dispatch so that we might be able to assist.

Requirements

Able to multi-task in a fast pace environment
Must be hard working, customer orientated and have a good knowledge of the city and service our area
Ability to lift over 50 lbs
Comfortable with computers (Handheld delivery units - we will train)
Comfortable with in-home deliveries to medical patients which includes moving freight inside the patient's home
Valid AZ Driver's License
Clean Criminal record
Provide Clean Drivers Abstract
Able to accept change mid-stream
Punctual, reliable and a Team Player
Previous experience with LTL freight

Nice To Haves

Forklift qualified (will train)
TDG / Fork Truck Certification (will train)
