About The Position

We are a fast-growing cybersecurity startup helping MSPs and mid-market organizations secure endpoints, enforce configuration compliance, and mitigate modern cyber threats at scale. Senteon is focused on delivering innovative solutions to secure critical business infrastructure. We prioritize a proactive security culture, operational excellence, and continuous innovation. We’re looking for an AWS Solutions Architect with 3+ years experience with EC2, ECS, RDS (Postgres), CloudFront and compliance logging such as SOC 2 and FedRAMP Medium who can hit the ground running and take ownership of core parts of our platform. You’ll work across the stack (primarily cloud engineering), helping to plan, design, develop, ship and maintain infrastructure, platform features and client facing applications. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved from beginning to end.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with AWS IAM, VPCs, EC2, ECS, CloudFront and Terraform demonstrated by work history and a technical assessment and/or public code repositories with personal projects
  • Working knowledge of containerized workflows and distributed system design
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Azure, GCP and/or multi-cloud deployment
  • Experience with automated deployments via CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Experience with C# and .NET Core

Responsibilities

  • Manage AWS via the console and Terraform for testing, development and production environments
  • Configure and deploy VPCs with subnet NACLs, resource Security Groups and gateways for VPC bridging, Internet access and private resource access via Tailscale and Nebula
  • Managed caching and distribution settings for S3 using CloudFront
  • Deploy and maintain EC2 and ECS instances
  • Manage accounts, identities, permissions and access controls via IAM and IAM Center
  • Work with architects and designers to update, migrate, create and ship features
  • Improve performance, reliability, and scalability as we grow
  • Contribute to technical decisions and help shape our engineering practices
  • Move fast, iterate quickly, and continuously improve the codebase
