About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect with a strong background in cloud and solution architecture to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on knowledge of AWS architecture, cloud-native patterns, networking, security, integration, data, and DevOps. This role involves delivering enterprise migration, modernization, or greenfield cloud programs, requiring a strong understanding of non-functional requirements, architecture documentation, risk management, and technology governance. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for effectively interacting with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of IT industry experience with significant experience in cloud and solution architecture.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS architecture, cloud-native patterns, networking, security, integration, data, and DevOps.
  • Experience delivering enterprise migration, modernization, or greenfield cloud programs.
  • Strong understanding of NFRs, architecture documentation, risk management, and technology governance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
  • AWS specialty certification in Security, Networking, Data Analytics, or DevOps is advantageous.
  • TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
  • Manufacturing or automotive domain experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end AWS solution architectures aligned with business goals, enterprise standards, and non-functional requirements.
  • Create current-state, target-state, integration, deployment, network, security, and data architecture views.
  • Select fit-for-purpose managed AWS services and define reusable architecture patterns.
  • Lead technical evaluations, architecture reviews, design decisions, and implementation guardrails.
  • Design solutions using services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Glue, Athena, and Redshift.
  • Apply AWS Well-Architected principles across operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability.
  • Design multi-account, network segmentation, identity, logging, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability approaches.
  • Assess application portfolios and define migration or modernization strategies.
  • Develop cloud migration roadmaps, landing-zone requirements, dependency plans, and cutover considerations.
  • Guide refactoring toward microservices, containers, serverless, event-driven, and API-led architectures where appropriate.
  • Embed security by design, least privilege, encryption, secrets management, auditability, and compliance controls.
  • Define governance guardrails, tagging, policy enforcement, service standards, and architecture decision records.
  • Drive cost transparency, sizing, consumption optimization, and architectural trade-off decisions.
  • Define infrastructure-as-code and automated delivery approaches using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
  • Guide CI/CD, environment promotion, observability, release, rollback, and operational-readiness practices.
  • Partner with engineering teams to automate repeatable provisioning and governance controls.
  • Present architecture recommendations to Architecture Review Boards and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead solution workshops and collaborate with application, security, data, infrastructure, network, and operations teams.
  • Mentor technical teams and provide hands-on architecture guidance through delivery.
