Here, you will make an impact by: Designing and developing next generation cloud platforms for 3M to support large scale server/application workloads Advocating for engineering practices and leading initiatives for adoption of modern cloud computing methodologies Owning and driving technical standards, mentoring junior engineers, and partnering with network, security operations, and development tool teams to deliver resilient, scalable, cost efficient, and secure cloud platform services Developing AWS Cloud Formation templates, tools, libraries, and automation code Engaging others to positively influence organizational change efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (completed and verified prior to start) OR High School Diploma or higher AND Four (4) years AWS experience AND Ten (10) years of Enterprise IT operational experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing AWS GovCloud environments and deployments
  • Proven experience automating cloud deployments using Python, Ansible, Terraform and CDK, as well as familiarity with Git-based workflows
  • Experience in an AWS organization managed by Control Tower
  • Work experience with multi cloud connected environments

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing next generation cloud platforms for 3M to support large scale server/application workloads
