About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AWS or Azure DevOps engineer with a mandatory requirement for Terraform expertise. This is a contract position located in Phoenix, AZ, requiring 5 days a week onsite presence, with an initial duration of 12+ months. The role involves leveraging your proven experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, specifically within AWS and with Terraform.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.
• Hands-on experience in AWS and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of core AWS services and architecture, including networking (VPC, subnets, route tables), compute, storage, and security best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of the Terraform workflow (init, plan, apply), state management (including remote backends like S3), and modular design.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Manage AWS or Azure environments, focusing on core services, networking, compute, storage, and security.
