About The Position

Stratacent is seeking an AWS Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure and scalable AWS cloud networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and extensive expertise in AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, connectivity, security, and cloud network architecture. Strong experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation is preferred. The role primarily focuses on AWS cloud networking, and on-premises networking experience is not required.

Requirements

Bachelors degree is required.
7+ Years of experience is required.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud
Extensive experience in AWS Networking
Strong expertise in VPC and Subnets
Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Strong understanding of AWS cloud networking architecture
Primarily looking for AWS cloud networking experience
On-premises networking experience is not required

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Cisco/Palo Alto is a plus

Responsibilities

Design and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet gateways, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect
Implement VPN (Site-to-Site, Client VPN) and hybrid connectivity between on-prem and AWS
Configure and manage security groups, NACLs, AWS Network Firewall, and WAF
Set up and monitor Route 53 (DNS), Load Balancers (ALB/NLB/GLB), and CloudFront
Implement network segmentation, VPC peering, and PrivateLink for multi-account architectures
Monitor network performance/health using CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and third-party tools
Automate network provisioning via Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC)
Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and routing issues across environments
Ensure compliance with security standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI as applicable)
Collaborate with cloud architects, security, and DevOps teams on infrastructure design
