About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer with a strong background in data engineering, Python, and cloud technologies, specifically AWS. The role involves working with AI and LLM technologies, developing and optimizing big data solutions, and ensuring best practices in data analysis, modeling, and governance. The engineer will also be responsible for developing datasets and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight and performing root cause analysis on data to drive business improvements. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Solid experience in data engineering using Python.
• Experience working with AI and LLM technologies.
• Experience working with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Experience with AWS including Glue, Lambda, IAM, Redshift.
• Proven big data experience in developing and optimizing solutions.
• Experience with best practices in data analysis and modeling.
• Experience optimizing architecture for big data, query performance, ease of use, and data governance.
• Experience in Amazon QuickSight developing datasets and dashboards with support for web app embeddings.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
