About The Position

STSI is looking for an experienced AWS Consultant to support cloud operations, infrastructure management, security, compliance, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on AWS experience, strong knowledge of federal compliance requirements, and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience supporting federal, public sector, or compliance-driven AWS environments.
Hands-on experience with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP compliance.
Strong knowledge of identity management, MFA, IAM, and zero-trust principles.
Experience with AWS infrastructure, cloud operations, security, cost management, and incident response.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Manage AWS accounts, billing, cost optimization, usage monitoring, IAM policies, and MFA.
Maintain and support AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and Route 53.
Lead cloud architecture, roadmap planning, scalability, resiliency, and disaster recovery efforts.
Perform system health checks, patching, monitoring, incident response, and remediation.
Support security and compliance activities related to NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, ATO, audits, and risk management.
Prepare documentation, reports, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and optimization recommendations.
Coordinate with leadership, IT teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
