About The Position

NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is seeking an Awake Overnight Supervisor for its residential youth program in Peabody, Massachusetts. The program serves youth referred for temporary out-of-home placement. The supervisor provides direct care, support, and supervision, including life skills training, social and interpersonal skill development, and community engagement.

This is a full-time third-shift position scheduled from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., paying $25.50 per hour. Overtime opportunities are available. The role oversees Overnight Youth Counselors and supports staff and clients through guidance and role modeling.

Requirements

• At least one year of residential counselor experience working with a similar population.
• High energy level, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a team atmosphere.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Current, valid U.S. driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with an adolescent population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Overnight Youth Counselors.
• Supervise and maintain direct care and the safety of youth.
• Remain awake throughout the entire shift.
• Conduct routine bed checks.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Provide administrative oversight of daily tasks and procedures.
• Provide ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling for staff and clients.
• Provide life skills training, social and interpersonal skill development, and community engagement.
