Hands at Home Care Services is seeking a dedicated Awake Overnight Caregiver to support a client in Middlebury, Vermont. They welcome both experienced caregivers and those new to the field, providing necessary training and support as no certification is required in Vermont.
Requirements
- No certifications or licenses required (certifications are a plus)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Smartphone required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and attentive
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients
- Ability to remain awake and alert throughout the entire overnight shift

Responsibilities
- Remaining awake and attentive for the entire shift
- Monitoring client safety and responding to needs as they arise
- Assisting with overnight personal care, including toileting and transfers if needed
- Providing companionship and reassurance
- Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment
- Meal or snack preparation as needed
- Documenting care provided during the shift
- Communicating important updates to the care team
