About The Position

Greeley is seeking an AVP, Technology Advancement & Innovation to lead the identification, evaluation, development, and commercialization of technology-enabled solutions that accelerate growth, expand market impact, and enhance client value. This role will serve as Greeley’s leader for technology strategy and innovation, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, and digital solutions that strengthen credentialing, privileging, provider enrollment, and medical staff services offerings. Working closely with Greeley leadership and Chartis technology, AI, and product teams, this individual will identify high-value opportunities, evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, develop business cases, and guide the creation of scalable solutions and offerings. The role serves as a bridge between subject matter experts, operational leaders, technology teams, and external partners to ensure Greeley remains at the forefront of innovation in medical staff services and the practitioner lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Significant experience in technology strategy, innovation, consulting, healthcare operations, or related leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating and executing build-versus-buy technology strategies.
  • Experience developing business plans, investment cases, and executive-level strategic recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, and digital product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities and translate concepts into commercially viable offerings.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled products, workflow automation platforms, and healthcare technology vendors.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with product, engineering, data, and consulting teams to bring new offerings to market.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Greeley’s technology advancement roadmap aligned with strategic growth priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and differentiate Greeley’s services through AI-enabled solutions, automation, analytics, and digital products.
  • Monitor emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for innovation and market leadership.
  • Partner with Greeley and Chartis leadership to establish technology investment priorities and long-term innovation strategies.
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop technology-enabled use cases across accreditation, regulatory compliance, quality, patient safety, practitioner lifecycle management, credentialing, privileging, provider enrollment, and medical staff services.
  • Translate Greeley’s intellectual capital, methodologies, and subject matter expertise into scalable tools, workflows, and digital solutions.
  • Lead pilot programs, proof-of-concept initiatives, and market validation efforts to assess client demand and business impact.
  • Partner with consulting, business development, data, and technology teams to develop, refine, and scale solutions that deliver measurable value to clients.
  • Lead evaluation of build-versus-buy opportunities, assessing strategic fit, scalability, implementation requirements, risks, and return on investment.
  • Develop business plans, executive recommendations, financial analyses, and investment cases to support technology-related decision-making.
  • Establish frameworks for evaluating and prioritizing innovation initiatives across Greeley’s portfolio.
  • Communicate market opportunities, client value, and implementation considerations to executive stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Serve as Greeley’s primary liaison with Chartis AI, digital, analytics, and product development teams.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-business collaboration and leverage enterprise capabilities to accelerate innovation.
  • Support business development efforts by articulating the value of technology-enabled solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, presentations, publications, and market-facing content focused on AI, healthcare compliance, practitioner lifecycle management, and operational transformation.
  • Represent Greeley in enterprise-wide technology initiatives and industry discussions related to innovation and emerging technologies.
