At LPL Financial, the AVP Technology, Prospect and Client Management team, within the Technology business unit, is responsible for planning and directing projects to help design, build, and maintain sustainable, scalable capabilities that support the delivery of the highest standards of software products and processes. The role involves overseeing and participating in activities that drive the design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance. The position requires collaboration with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate business problem statements into technical solutions and plan Sprints that deliver quality demonstrations. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the technical assessment of risks and issues, documenting recommendations, coordinating solution design with leaders from Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Business to optimize speed to market and achieve prioritized business outcomes, and coaching the team in developing appropriate technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines. Communication with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product support is also a key aspect of this role.
