AVP/Retail Lending Supervisor

About The Position
As a leader in Retail Lending, you will guide a team responsible for originating and servicing residential mortgage and consumer loans, including purchases, refinances, construction, and home equity products. This role combines leadership, decision-making, and relationship building—providing direction on loan structure, supporting team performance, and ensuring compliance across the lending process. You will also help drive business growth by developing referral relationships and promoting NEBAT’s lending philosophy.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a positive and approachable demeanor with internal & external customers while applying strong product and service knowledge to meet customer needs.
- Display composure and adaptability, with the ability to adjust communication style, overcome obstacles, and build strong internal and external relationships.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality of customer, bank, and prospective client information.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills with a commitment to high-quality client service.
- 7+ years of bank operations experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Working knowledge of compliance, loan documentation, and bank operations

- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
