About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven AVP, Relationship Manager to join our Equipment Finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for delivering tailored equipment financing solutions to middle-market clients. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, originating new business, and supporting the full lifecycle of equipment finance transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in equipment finance, commercial lending, or relationship management
• Proven ability to structure and negotiate complex financial transactions
• Strong understanding of credit underwriting fundamentals and financial statement analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events

Nice To Haves

• Experience in banking or financial services preferred
• Familiarity with equipment types and industry-specific financing structures

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of equipment finance clients, focusing on businesses with capital-intensive needs
• Originate and structure equipment finance transactions, including loans and leases, in alignment with internal credit policies and risk appetite
• Partner with internal stakeholders (Credit, Legal, Operations) to facilitate underwriting, documentation, and closing processes
• Maintain a proactive calling program to identify new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships
• Provide consultative support to clients and internal bankers on equipment lifecycle, valuation, and financing strategies
• Monitor client portfolios to ensure performance and identify opportunities for renewal or expansion
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and contribute to pipeline reporting and forecasting
