Join a small, dedicated team focused on building North Carolina's first freestanding children's hospital and world-class children's health system. Summary: Reporting directly to the Chief Philanthropy Officer for NC Children's, the Assistant Vice President, Philanthropy (Transformational Philanthropy) will play a pivotal role in shaping and securing the visionary investments that will define the future of NC Children's. This leader will oversee the identification, cultivation, engagement, solicitation, and stewardship of individuals and organizations with the capacity to make gifts of $10 million or more. The AVP will design and execute a comprehensive strategic and annual operating plan for transformational giving by setting clear goals, tracking performance, and reporting progress as part of NC Children's broader philanthropic and organizational accountability framework. In partnership with institutional leadership and faculty, this role will help articulate bold, compelling cases for support, translating complex ideas into powerful philanthropic opportunities.
