About The Position

Embark on a transformative journey as an PDS Client Interaction Group - AVP. At Barclays, our vision is clear –to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role, you will be elevating the client experience and supporting Barclays’ vision to be at the forefront in global markets. As part of a dynamic, global team, you’ll act as a trusted point of contact for clients across Exchange Traded and Cleared OTC derivatives, partnering closely with PDS Sales, Relationship Management, and Product to deliver seamless, integrated solutions. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure, influence strategic, and make a meaningful impact while helping strengthen our risk and control environment in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

Requirements

Deep product knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives, ETD and Cleared OTC Derivatives, cOTC
Validated experience in client service, with excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
The ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and evolving client priorities
A firm commitment to risk management, with a willingness to uphold coordinate and escalate concerns

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated analytical capabilities, including experience performing data and trend analysis
Demonstrated problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive solutions

Responsibilities

Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.
Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes
