Requirements

Up to 10+ years of technical underwriting experience specializing in Fidelity/Crime insurance.
Substantial experience with Financial Institutions (FI) and Commercial Crime is highly preferred.
History of entrepreneurial insurance work is necessary, with track record of form development and filing and operational problem solving.
Excellent negotiation, quantitative, and analytical skills.
Deep understanding of policy/endorsement wordings and manuscript policies.
Bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

Professional designations such as CPCU or ARM are strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Drive the strategic vision, underwriting guidelines, and profit objectives for the Crime and Fidelity insurance product line.
Collaborate with the Public, pHd (Private Healthcare and Not-for-profit division), and Financial Institution underwriting teams to boost overall production within the professional lines division.
Evaluate complex commercial and financial institution crime exposures.
Structure manuscript endorsements and negotiate terms within delegated authority.
Leverage and expand your broker network to originate new business and maximize client retention.
Monitor profitability, loss trends, and exposure management to ensure appropriate rate adequacy.
