About The Position
The AVP Internal of the Commerce Advocate Program supports the VP Internal in coordinating CAP’s internal operations and team initiatives. This role focuses on maintaining strong team communication, supporting member engagement and development, and assisting with the organization of internal activities to ensure CAP operates smoothly and maintains a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Desire to represent Sauder to prospective students
- Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Support the VP Internal in organizing and facilitating internal team meetings and bonding events
- Assist with maintaining and updating internal documents, schedules, and shared drives
- Support the onboarding and training of new CAP members
- Assist with internal team communications and coordination across projects
- Help plan and execute team-building, social, and member engagement initiatives
- Check in with CAP members and help maintain a supportive and inclusive team environment
- Assist with the planning and execution of CAP’s outreach events and initiatives as needed
- Work closely with the VP Internal and executive team to support smooth club operations
- Take on VP Internal responsibilities when support or additional capacity is needed
