About The Position
The Associate Vice President(s) of External Affairs will assist the Vice President of External Affairs with managing partnerships with sponsors, suit donors, dry cleaners, and any other companies outside of UBC and Sauder. The Associate Vice President of External Affairs will gain experience in verbal and written communication and sponsorship outreach. This role is great for someone looking to gain confidence in their communication skills for sales, PR or external relations roles.

- Organized and dependable
- Effective verbal and written communicator and team worker
- Confident in relationship-building
Nice To Haves
- Prior sponsorship outreach experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Help with outreach to potential sponsors and donors
- Assist with maintaining relationships with dry cleaners
- Support sponsorship process for events by sending emails
- Work with Logistics team to understand event needs
