Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk, audit, compliance, legal, or a related function within a regulated financial environment
• Strong track record leading enterprise risk assessments and advising senior leadership
• Experience influencing cross-functional initiatives and operating independently in complex environments
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Relevant professional certification required (RIMS-CRMP preferred; FRM, PRM, CRCM, CRM, or similar accepted)
• Credit union or financial services experience strongly preferred

• Collaborate with senior leaders and executive committees, providing insights that influence important business decisions and long-term strategy.
• Tackle meaningful challenges that have real organizational impact, whether it's navigating regulatory changes, identifying emerging risks, or improving business processes.
• Lead initiatives that improve how Mission Fed manages risk, strengthens governance, and makes decisions across the business.
• Partner with teams throughout Mission Fed, helping leaders balance innovation, growth, and risk while achieving their business goals.
• Help build a proactive, risk-aware culture where employees feel empowered to make informed decisions and contribute to the organization's success.
