The AVP, Enterprise Architecture is a senior technology leader responsible for defining and driving the enterprise architecture strategy across business capabilities, applications, data, cloud, cybersecurity, integration, AI, and digital platforms. This role serves as the enterprise architecture authority for a multi-member shared services environment supporting multiple mutual insurance companies across Personal and Commercial P&C lines of business. This leader will shape the target-state architecture for scalable, reusable, and secure platforms that can support policy, billing, claims, underwriting, distribution, customer experience, agent experience, data, and AI-enabled business processes. The role is especially critical in advancing a multi-member platform strategy that enables business flexibility, operating leverage, common capabilities, and controlled member-specific variation across the mutual insurance model. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in P&C insurance architecture, core insurance platforms such as Guidewire, cloud-native architecture, enterprise integration, data strategy, AI-first architecture, and cybersecurity. This leader must also bring experience supporting M&A, onboarding, integration, or consolidation of P&C insurance companies, including the architecture patterns, data strategies, system integration approaches, and operating model considerations needed to bring new companies onto a common enterprise platform. This role will lead enterprise architecture governance, chair the Architecture Review Board, partner closely with business and technology executives, and ensure major technology investments align with business strategy, enterprise standards, security requirements, and long-term platform direction.
