About The Position

The AVP, Branch Manager leads a full-service branch as the credit union's senior representative in its market. As a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative, the credit union measures success by how well it improves the financial lives of its members and strengthens the communities it serves. The AVP, Branch Manager owns branch results and is accountable for member experience, relationship growth, community presence, team performance, and a sound risk and control environment. The AVP, Branch Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring a consistent high-quality member experience, leading and developing branch personnel, maintaining compliance in operations, and engaging with the community at large.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Five or more years of credit union, banking, or related financial services experience, including at least two years leading a team.
Demonstrated record of growing member or customer relationships.
Working knowledge of deposit and lending products and applicable regulations, including BSA/AML.

Nice To Haves

Consumer and small business lending experience; NMLS registration where required.
Established community or civic involvement in the branch market.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
