At United, our Technical Operations team is comprised of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams dedicated to ensuring our aircraft are well-maintained and ready for service. This role involves providing service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe, and Components. Daily duties include inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair, and routine maintenance. The position offers the opportunity to work on larger, sophisticated aircraft and requires strong mechanical competence, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as a teammate. Candidates must be capable of handling weather extremes and enjoy hands-on work. United provides initial, specialty, and recurrent training in technical areas, ethics, and compliance. This is a union position with an initial schedule designed to meet operational needs, requiring availability for any shift within a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays.
