Avionics Technician IV
About The Position
As an Avionics Technician IV, you will supervise avionics maintenance teams and oversee the most complex diagnostics and repairs. You will ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and compliance. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in avionics systems and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings.
- Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques.
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in Avionics, Electronics, or a related field.
- Leadership experience in a maintenance environment.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with FCC and FCC General Radio Operator License (GROL).
- Ability to mentor and guide subordinates.
- Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope, and/or Pitot static equipment.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

- Conduct advanced training sessions for avionics staff.

- Maintain high standards of safety and work quality.
