CX2 is a next-generation defense technology company founded to deliver spectrum dominance for the United States and our allies. CX2’s AI-enabled hardware and software platforms detect, disrupt and defend the electromagnetic spectrum across land, air, sea and space domains. We are seeking an Avionics Systems Integration Engineer to own the integration, verification, and operational readiness of avionics systems for advanced unmanned aircraft and defense platforms. This is a hand-on role responsible for bringing together flight-critical hardware, mission systems, sensors, payloads, communications equipment, and software into fully operational aircraft ready for ground and flight testing. The engineer will own technical execution across development, integration, test, troubleshooting, and deployment while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams in a rapid, iterative development environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who thrives on building, testing, and solving difficult technical problems. They are comfortable working directly with avionics hardware, electrical systems, Linux-based computers, embedded devices, and networked systems, and can independently diagnose issues at the component, subsystem, and UAS levels. They take ownership of system performance, drive issues to resolution, continuously improve integration processes, and excel in environments where rapid iteration, accountability, and technical excellence are expected. The ideal candidate is the engineer everyone calls when the aircraft isn't working. They can connect to a Linux box, inspect logs, troubleshoot network traffic, validate electrical interfaces, isolate failing hardware, and methodically work through integration issues until the system is operational. They are equally comfortable reviewing system architecture diagrams, working at a lab bench with test equipment, or supporting troubleshooting on an aircraft during flight test operations. CX2 is a next-generation defense technology company securing spectrum dominance for the United States and its allies. We build AI-enabled hardware and software platforms to detect, disrupt, and defend the electromagnetic spectrum across land, air, sea, and space. Our systems are deployed in the most contested operational environments in the world. We’re backed by leading venture investors in the defense ecosystem and led by founders with track records at Meta, SpaceX, Epirus, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
