  • Proficiency in two or more high-order programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Ada, Java)
  • Educational exposure to assembly language concepts
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and interpret data outputs
  • Technical writing skills sufficient to document engineering analyses and findings
  • Basic understanding of avionics systems or aerospace engineering principles
  • Experience in software development, data analysis, or systems engineering (academic or professional)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a technical team environment
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline required.

  • Reviews engineering artifacts, system outputs, and analysis products to identify discrepancies, risks, or areas requiring clarification.
  • Assists in certification and compliance efforts for systems pursuing RNAV, RNP, and related CNS/ATM approvals by reviewing requirements, design documentation, and compliance evidence.
  • Supports certification documentation and compliance matrices.
  • Assists in verification and validation (V&V) assessment reviews.
  • Supports test planning activities from a systems and requirements perspective.
  • Contributes to engineering and airworthiness assessments under the direction of senior engineers.
  • Develops and supports technical documentation, including engineering assessments and analysis summaries, test plans, procedures, and reports, and certification and compliance support documentation.
  • Ensures documentation is technically accurate, clearly written, traceable to requirements, and suitable for government review.
  • Participates in systems engineering activities across the system lifecycle, including requirements review and decomposition, design and interface evaluation support, and integration and verification support from a systems perspective.
