About The Position

This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 at Edwards Airforce Base, CA flight test site. As a team member you will be involved in maintaining all aspects of the aircraft to include F-35 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS avionics discipline or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA instrumentation license or 4 years F-35 specific avionics experience.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting Aircraft Technical Data Instructions.
  • Experience with Tool Control, FOD, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
  • Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, Technical Data.
  • Interim Secret Clearance Required Prior to Start
  • Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.
  • Previous flight test or military fighter aircraft maintenance experience in instrumentation and or avionics a plus.
  • Flightline Experience highly desired
