This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. We are a small team of passionate experts, supporting integration of avionics software, hardware, and the vehicle during operations and test. Our team is looking to hire someone who loves solving problems, supporting the team, and pushing both themselves and the team to produce robust and reliable avionics products and tools. Come join us in this exciting and fast-paced role to make a direct impact on the history of human space exploration! As a software-hardware integrator, you will be on the front line of operational usage of avionics and an authority on all aspects of New Glenn avionics. You will follow integration of software and hardware from labs out to the vehicle and will be accountable for developing tools and systems to improve our efficiency and make use of avionics seamless for production and test. You will collaborate with software product owners, avionics box owners, and stage-level production leads, building comprehensive tools and relationships while making New Glenn a leading competitor in launch services. As a key member of the Avionics team, you are highly diligent and future-thinking, can handle a broad set of data, and embrace Blue's long-term vision of millions of people living and working in space.
