Avionics Engineer

About The Position
The Avionics Engineer works with avionics systems and products, evaluating aircraft configurations and installed equipment. The role involves authoring and revising technical instructions, including corrections to maintenance instructions. The engineer does not work directly on the aircraft but may interact with it when needed.
Requirements
- Experience in avionics, including Autopilot, Communication, Indication, Navigation, Information, Business and Time Management systems, or related experience.
- Experience authoring, revising, and creating aircraft modification instructions.
- Experience managing aircraft modification projects and creating and approving one-time engineering deviations.
- Knowledge of CFRs, maintenance programs, WDM, AMM, IPC, FIM, TSM, and CMM.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an Associate degree in Engineering with equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Airbus expertise is highly preferred.
