About The Position

Join Lockheed Martin’s Greenville Production Team as a Production Hangar Avionics F-16 Technician. In this hands-on role, you will install and maintain avionics on F-16 aircraft while upholding high standards of safety and quality in a team-driven environment. The position provides exposure to advanced aerospace technology and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on avionics engineering or technician experience, preferably on F-16 or similar military aircraft.
• Proficiency in electrical harness and wire installation, cable termination, and continuity testing.
• Skill in troubleshooting and repairing complex avionics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with Lockheed Martin systems or military aircraft.
• Familiarity with advanced soldering techniques and hazardous material handling.
• Certification in Avionics or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Install and route electrical harnesses, components, and wires or cables on F-16 aircraft.
• Terminate cables and wires, conduct continuity testing, and perform soldering and termination operations.
• Perform operational checks and troubleshoot or repair electrical and avionics systems as assigned.
• Complete general mechanic installations, system testing, and inspections when required.
• Follow safety protocols, maintenance manuals, and procedural documentation.
• Maintain a clean, FOD-free work area and handle hazardous materials according to regulations.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work in environments with vibration exposure.
