Our team is excited to meet you! As a Recurring Avionics Electrical Component Engineer you will be supporting and maintaining hardware designs for the Vulcan and Atlas Vehicles. Responsibilities may include: Becoming the Certified Responsible Engineer (CRE) for flight avionics components, potentially including complex controllers, actuators, batteries, sensors and transducers. Developing and maintaining component requirements, including functional, physical, and environmental test. Working with your hardware suppliers in support of component testing. Working with your suppliers to address, troubleshoot, and resolve issues or failures. Analyzing and documenting out-of-family data when observed. Supporting integration of your components onto the vehicle. Resolving issues that occur during launch site testing that relate to your hardware. Supporting reviews related to systems and components. Partnering with your supply chain colleagues to manage contracts, support statement of work creation, provide engineering estimates, and negotiate with your suppliers.
