About The Position
Our client is seeking a Senior Avionics Communications Engineer to join our team in support of Navy acquisition programs specifications, evaluations, and integration of military avionics systems. This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus if hired in the amount of $5,000-$10,000.
Requirements
- Intimate knowledge of military communications systems, radar altimeters, navigation systems, data loaders, moving maps, and flight mission computer hardware and software.
- Electrical Engineering degree with 10 years experience with military avionics systems.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working understanding of Naval Air acquisition SETR processes.
- Naval Air Program Office experience.
- Software development experience.
