About The Position

Plan, train, and guide the airport customer and baggage services team to ensure excellent service for every passenger, creating a positive airport experience. Keep the airport baggage claim area neat and organized while assisting customers to find lost luggage. This role involves leading training classes, managing training records, and supporting HR functions such as processing applications, new hire paperwork, and employee/payroll information.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
Computer skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish
XX experience (housekeeping, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, airline)

Responsibilities

Lead training classes to ensure team members are able to provide the highest level of service possible
Complete and manage training records, schedules, reports, supply ordering, and billing
Audit training records and resolve discrepancies as needed
Prepare and distribute reports detailing training activities and needs
Manage employee and payroll information in the HR system while maintaining strict confidentiality of all station personnel records
Process employment applications and new hire paperwork, including assisting with interviewing
Support onboarding by processing fingerprinting and badging and providing information about benefits and policies
Provide coverage for supervisor shifts as needed
Follow all HHS and regulatory procedures and best practices
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
Guide the airport customer and baggage services team to ensure excellent service for every passenger to create a positive airport experience
Keep the airport baggage claim area neat and organized while assisting customers to find lost luggage
