About The Position

An employee in this classification is responsible for administrative and supervisory work in the management of a signage design and production facility for the Miami-Dade County Aviation Department. An employee in this class is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating the work of skilled employees engaged in designing and producing all airport signage systems for Miami International Airport and its five auxiliary facilities

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Graphic Arts or related field.
  • Three years of experience in commercial arts, graphics, or architectural/engineering drafting or design work are required.
  • Additional experience may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and such other procedures as may be mandated by federal law.
