About The Position

Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Aviation Security Officer to support private aviation operations for a premier corporate account. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe around high-profile flight activity. This post supports one of our most distinguished corporate accounts, where the standard for professionalism, presentation, and precision is exceptionally high – true concierge-level security. Weekend availability is required to support scheduled flight activity; on-call coverage windows are built around each flight's departure and arrival times.

Requirements

  • Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience
  • Valid FL Security License
  • Valid FL Driver's License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
  • Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
  • Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
  • Above-average written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
  • Comfort working around private aviation operations and high-profile passengers
  • Flexible weekend availability to support flight schedules

Responsibilities

  • Provide security coverage for private aviation flight operations, including greeting and screening arriving/departing passengers and crew
  • Coordinate arrival and departure timing with flight schedules per assignment protocol
  • Deter misconduct and unauthorized access to the flight line and hangar areas
  • Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports
  • Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, and use email
  • Maintain flexible weekend availability to support scheduled flight activity
