About The Position

Substitute instructor will provide instruction/ training duties in General, Airframe, and Powerplant courses as assigned. Current Aviation substitutes do NOT need to reapply. Orientation is required for all substitute instructors.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current FAA issued A&P license required
• Leadership ability
• Lecture and demonstrative skills
• Reasoning ability
• Ability to instruct
• Ability to observe, recognize, and interpret
• Ability to evaluate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Satisfactory personal conduct and integrity
• Ability to work well with others
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance
• General computer skills required for daily tasks and Learning Management System (LMS) navigation.
