About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Aviation Engineer to join our Aviation Central Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Houston, TX. The role involves developing plans and drawings, performing field observations of construction, researching project site conditions and regulatory agency specifications, and contributing to the development of specifications and permit applications. The engineer will also prepare preliminary cost estimates and collaborate with experienced engineers on production of engineering drawings for airport and airport-related civil engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, roadways, parking lots, and supporting infrastructure. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor may also be part of the role.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years’ experience in a related technical field
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
  • Good computer skills and ability to utilize standard office software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
  • E.I.T. preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans and drawings.

  • Perform other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
