About The Position

The Aviation Analyst will provide operational and data analysis support to the Airspace Modernization Office (AMO). This organization establishes goals, safety and security of NAS systems, long-term strategies, budgets, priorities and resource allocations that improve service and achieve performance targets. Ultimately accountable for ensuring benefits realization throughout the National Airspace System (NAS) lifecycle. This position will plan, analyze, research and develop advanced concepts, new technologies and prototypes, and conduct systems engineering to support initial and final investment decisions. Provide business analysis, administrative and logistics support, and coordination, tracking/refinement of various technical projects. Must be able to obtain a FAA Public Trust Security Clearance investigation for access to facilities, equipment and property. Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance investigation for access to facilities, equipment and property.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with solid presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar and a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Uses analytical tools to identify trends and support transformation and operational improvement initiatives from executive team.
