About The Position

RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a AV Technician in Ft. Myers starting ASAP. This is a contract-to-hire position.

Requirements

Experience with commercial audiovisual systems including video conferencing, digital signage, audio distribution, and control systems.
Experience programming, commissioning, and supporting Crestron control systems, touch panels, processors, and networked AV devices.
Ability to interpret system drawings, schematics, and signal flow diagrams.
Proficiency in system integration, device configuration, firmware updates, and end-to-end commissioning of AV solutions.
Skill in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues in commercial AV environments.
Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
Experience providing client training and technical documentation.
Basic cabling hand tools.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot commercial audiovisual systems including video conferencing, digital signage, audio distribution, and control systems.
Program, commission, and support Crestron control systems, touch panels, processors, and networked AV devices.
Interpret system drawings, schematics, and signal flow diagrams to ensure accurate installation and system functionality.
Perform system integration, device configuration, firmware updates, and end-to-end commissioning of AV solutions.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in commercial AV environments.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver projects on schedule and meet performance requirements.
Provide client training, technical documentation, and ongoing support to ensure successful system operation and user adoption.
