About The Position
We are seeking an experienced AV/technology system designer with a specialization in Commercial AV. The ideal candidate is adept at collaborating with sales teams and interacting directly with clients. A passion for technology and creating systems that enhance client lives, coupled with a team-oriented approach, is essential.
Requirements
- Experience with Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal creation of commercial technology systems using tools such as Jetbuilt, CAD, Visio, DTools, & Revit (Ideally)
- Deep knowledge of AV, Control Systems (Crestron, Biamp, Qsys), Security systems, and Networks
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- Pleasant disposition
- High EQ
Nice To Haves
- Revit experience
Responsibilities
- Creation of design and engineering documentation for low-voltage system implementation in commercial applications
- Understand design software (ideally D Tools, CAD and or Revit)
- Deep understanding of signal flow, networks, AV, and control systems
- Understand the built environment and phases of construction projects
- Labor estimating, Building BOMs, and in-depth knowledge and ability to review and bid off of construction documents.
