About The Position

The AV Specialist executes general tasks for the day-to-day operations involving existing or potential ImageNet clients. A passion for people, the ability to quickly determine AV opportunities and best practices through technology solutions is a must to succeed in this role. They regularly find ways to increase the bottom line by keeping up with the latest design, technology, and systems to discuss while meeting with clients during Needs Analysis walkthroughs, demos, or welcome meetings. The AV Specialist requires a demonstrated experience selling network services, unified collaboration and communications, and display technology. They will provide data to create sales forecasts and can work with ImageNet account representatives to develop sales strategies tailored to their geographic territory or vertical market. They will also continually develop target accounts and prospects through sales pipeline development to identify and profile prospects.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year college/university, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience: Four (4) years prior business-to-business sales or management experience; equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience developing mutually beneficial goals, building partnerships and solving business problems.
  • Experience overseeing accuracy of weekly activity reports.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and building relationships with existing and new ImageNet clients to deliver training, knowledge, and probable solutions to any audiovisual pain points
  • Great client service skills with a commitment to resolving client concerns as well as meeting customer requirements
  • Provide regular updates of in-house orders, sales calls/meetings scheduled, new opportunities, and status of outstanding proposals to management
  • Responsible for developing and executing quarterly sales plans to expand existing client base and generate new business to grow ImageNet’s AV offering
  • Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable
  • Prepare contracts and proposals for review by management
  • Work with the installation team and Project Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation
  • Self-motivated to conduct research surrounding new technologies or fields of study and to help clients problem solve the best way forward in their business’s technology solutions
  • Highly organized, punctual, and capable of effective, efficient multi-tasking. Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail. Works with integrity and ethically. Ability to work independently in a timely manner
  • Ability to work directly with Vendors or Manufacturer Representative to receive training and knowledge on the latest systems or large solutions for our clients
  • Strives to promote a positive work environment within the Team and improve areas of deficiency for greater profitability
  • Utilizes Team resources and management support to enhance Team effectiveness and development
