About The Position

We are hiring Autonomous Vehicle Operators (Safety Drivers) in Atlanta, GA to support testing and daily operations. As a Level 3 Vehicle Operator, you will help ensure the safety, readiness, and performance of self-driving vehicles in real-world traffic conditions. This role works closely with engineering and operations teams while representing the company professionally in public settings.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive for extended periods of time
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic technology and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and proactive mindset
• No criminal history; must pass background and MVR checks

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
• Military experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles in live traffic environments
• Drive 4–8 hours per day with safety as the top priority
• Conduct vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
• Support software and hardware testing operations
• Document observations, metrics, and testing results accurately
• Report technical issues and provide feedback to engineering teams
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness
• Assist with logistics, movement, and storage of vehicles and equipment
• Represent the company professionally during all operations
