Learning Experience (LX) in Enterprise Technology aspires to make enterprise-wide technologies a multiplier of teaching, learning and discovery for all faculty and students. LX Space Design advances this aspiration by designing multimedia solutions in partnership with stakeholders that enable each space to fulfill its intended purpose. The AV Field Operations Manager provides day-to-day operational supervision and coordination of audiovisual field engineering activities for Space Design. This role oversees the scheduling, prioritization, and execution of field work supporting university classrooms, conference spaces, digital signage, and departmental AV environments across ASU campuses. The position focuses on operational management, execution planning, and field coordination rather than primarily performing direct engineering work. The AV Field Operations Manager supervises AV Field Engineers, manages equipment inventory and logistics, and partners with service leads and project coordinators to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of AV support and project work. This position is in person with limited remote workdays. This role may require working nights and weekends to meet university demands. As with all members of the Enterprise Technology team, this role carries core responsibilities, including fostering a sense of belonging and cultivating a culture that is relational, visionary, and empowering. With a strong emphasis on authenticity and compassion, this position is dedicated to embodying and advancing our culture.
