AV/Broadcast Techician
About The Position
Under general supervision from the Senior Director of Campus Life, the AV Broadcast Technician will perform a variety of duties with regard to Digital Media, Audio Visual and Broadcast Support, and other duties as assigned. This position is a working position. AVBT will possess a genuine interest in and concern for geriatric, chronically ill and/or disabled persons. This position will require flexibility with work schedule and direct collaboration with Activities, Community of Faith, Zoe Life and Human Resources. Must be able to fluently communicate in or to take or give direction or guidance in the English language.
Requirements
- Knowledge of digital media production, delivery, theories, technologies, principles, concepts and methodologies.
- Knowledge of broadcast technology and AV standards for sustainable media operations.
- Understanding of audio and video distribution methods and best practices.
- Must be able to fluently communicate in or to take or give direction or guidance in the English language.

Responsibilities
- Operate AV for live events and live broadcasts.
- When not actively engaged in AV responsibilities, the AVBT will provide support for Campus Life activities and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance is considered an essential function of this position and is necessary for the efficient operation of the business.
- Create media for Glencroft event promotions on variety of platforms for internal and external distribution.
- Tailor media for playback for a variety of internal and external platforms and websites.
- Record and edit video footage for internet and external distribution.
- Maintain AV equipment campus wide.
- Must reply to emails and voice messages before end of day, however immediate reply is desired.
- Other duties as assigned.
