About The Position

HEDSouth is seeking an aspiring Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. You will learn how to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems in commercial and residential settings. The goal is to ensure that installations are completed on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. This role is hands-on and field-based, requiring a curious and technically inclined individual who is eager to learn and grow.

Requirements

An interest in Commercial and/or Residential AV & Low-Voltage (Wiring & Installation).
Familiarity with networking.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems in commercial and residential settings.
Ensure installations are completed on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction.
Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron).
Mount devices at the ends of wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading).
Build and lace equipment racks.
Setup and configure devices.
Understand networks.
Troubleshoot devices.
Eventually Program (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron).
