About The Position
The City of Tshwane has embarked on an initiative to improve and expand access to healthcare services by contracting Auxiliary Nurses to render basic functional primary healthcare services within the statutory scope of practice parameters in communities and households. These services include rendering basic nursing care, operational logistical services, patient record services, and health-related information services. The positions are for eight hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 16:00, within City of Tshwane clinics.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- An auxiliary nurse certificate or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Staff Nurse
- Relevant working experience at primary healthcare facilities
- No criminal record or dismissal for misconduct at any previous workplace
- Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
