SUMMARY The Auxiliary I assists in the operations of cigarette manufacturing and the packaging process; loads and unloads packaging materials; and helps facilitate efficient production of high-quality tobacco finished goods. Auxiliaries I are responsible for duties in assigned areas and cross-training for cover in additional departments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to quickly learn, retain, and apply knowledge across various duties and department
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, proactive approach, and consistent follow-through.
  • Flexibility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing machine operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operator in the setup and operation of production equipment according to detailed work instructions.
  • Verify that materials used align with production schedules and brand specifications.
  • Maintain appropriate material levels to support continuous production flow.
  • Communicate effectively any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns with operators and supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
