About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Autonomy Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in Irving, TX. We offer full benefits, PTO, 401k, and more! As an Autonomy Systems Integration Engineer, you will serve as the engineering interface between autonomous hauling application teams and base machine systems teams. You will be responsible for integrating autonomy hardware and software solutions with base machine systems, including requirements development and documentation, test and validation support, and procurement support activities. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Irving, TX.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum required (internship experience not accepted in lieu of a degree).
  • Comparable prior titles/roles: Controls Engineer III, Mechanical Engineer III.
  • Top skills: strong technical knowledge, self-starter, and an excellent communicator/team player.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with autonomy systems integration engineers to ensure product architecture requirements are fulfilled.
  • Partner with base machine systems teams on feature requirements that impact the autonomy layer, including decomposing and composing requirements.
  • Work with technical program managers and application architects to ensure program requirements (time, cost, quality) are being met.
  • Ensure base machine software changes are delivered on time for command-for-hauling releases, spanning both new and current product introduction (NPI/CPI) solutions.
  • Support field data collection kit activities, including design support, procurement, shipping to site, and data collection.
  • Document architecture specifications, software design descriptions, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures.
  • Assist in the verification and validation process, including supporting and troubleshooting hardware-in-the-loop and proving ground test and development.
  • Participate in the design and development of application software and algorithms for robotic platforms.
  • Collaborate with validation teams to confirm integrated features perform as planned.
