About The Position

The Autonomy Stack Program Engineering Manager is accountable for delivering electrical content for ARC product programs from concept through launch, ensuring technical execution, schedule integrity, and cross‑functional alignment. This role leads the core engineering execution engine—turning product intent into released, buildable, and producible designs. The role requires a broad skill set as we build the organization with a focus on working closely with the Kokomo plant, Software team, Validation team, Development team, and deployment organization. It requires creative solutions and processes that are different from typical GM programs. Responsible for evaluation of designs, analysis, development, validation, and implementation. Lead the resolution of design, build and test issues. Requires review and approval of all engineering changes. Additionally requires being a visible leader to keep the team focused on what makes us better, faster, and more profitable. This leader ensures programs are executed with discipline, clarity, and technical excellence while navigating complex dependencies across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years leading complex engineering programs or products
  • Deep experience in mechanical and/or electrical system execution
  • Proven ability to lead multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Strong program management instincts paired with technical credibility
  • Comfortable making decisions in technically dense, high-ambiguity environments
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee or refugee)

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for end-to-end program execution for electrical content
  • Engineer and develop wiring, networking, and communications functions
  • Ensure robustness, serviceability, manufacturability, packaging and standards compliance
  • Own overall electrical architectures driven by product and safety requirements
  • Lead execution of controls calibration, commissioning tools, and supporting infrastructure
  • Ensure repeatable, scalable end of line test and calibration processes across products
  • Ensure sensing strategies support safety, autonomy, and performance needs
  • Work with mechanical team to ensure sensing calibration and testing are accommodated
  • Lead design release, change management, and configuration control
  • Ensure wiring diagrams, models, and specifications are complete and production-ready
  • Own program plans, milestones, dependencies, and execution health
  • Drive disciplined engineering execution
  • Establish clear technical decision-making
  • Proactively manage risk, interfaces, and cross-domain dependencies
  • Partner closely with Product Integration, Safety, Manufacturing, and Suppliers
